There were 4,697 people living in the Census designated place as of the 2010 census. 91.8% of the population was White. 86.2% of the population is non-Hispanic white, 0.9% is Black or African American, 0.1% is Native American, 3.4% is Asian, 0.0% is Pacific Islander, 2.3% is from other racial groups, and 1.5% is from more than two racial groups. In terms of race, 8.1% of people were Hispanic or Latino.
2000 Census
The CDP was home to 4,625 people, 1,681 households, and 1,314 families as of the 2000 census. There were 2,870.7 people per square mile (1,108.4/km2) in the population. At an average density of 1,065.7 per square mile (411.5/km2), there were 1,717 dwelling units. Ninety-two percent of the CDP’s population was White, fifty percent African American, forty percent Native American, twenty percent Asian, forty percent Pacific Islander, fifteen percent other ethnic groups, and ninety-nine percent multiracial. Latinos or Hispanics of any race made up 4.61% of the total population.
There were 1,681 houses, of which 34.0% included children under the age of 18, married couples made up 65.0% of the households, single women made up 9.8% of the households, and non-families made up 21.8%. Individuals made up 18.0% of all households, and those 65 years of age or older lived alone in 9.0% of them. The average size of a family was 3.12 and the average size of a household was 2.75.
With 23.9% of the population under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 27.1% from 45 to 64, and 16.9% over the age of 65, the population of the CDP was dispersed. It was 42 years old on average. There were 81.1 men for every 100 females. There were 79.3 males for every 100 girls over the age of 18.
In the CDP, the median income for a family was $103,048 and the median income for a household was $94,453. The median income for men was $86,469 while it was $50,909 for women.
