The CDP has 5,182 residents as of the 2010 census, comprising 1,812 households and 1,442 families. There were 7,866.8 people per square mile (3,037.4/km2) in the population. At an average density of 2,803.3 per square mile (1,082.4/km2), there were 1,853 dwelling units. 70.4 percent of the CDP’s population was White, 24.3 percent Asian, 0.3 percent African American, 0.0 2 Native American, 1.27% other racial groups, and 1.83% multiracial. Any race that was Hispanic or Latino made up 5.50% of the population.
Out of the 1,812 households, 33.6% included children under the age of 18, married couples made up 67.7% of the households, single women made up 8.4%, and non-families made up 20.4%. Individuals made up 17.9% of all households, and 11.3% of those had a single person 65 years of age or older living alone. The mean dimensions of households were 2.87 and families were 3.27 on average.
The population of the CDP was dispersed, with 19.4% being 65 years of age or older, 6.4% being between the ages of 18 and 24, 27.1% being between the ages of 25 and 44, and 22.5% being under the age of 18. It was 42 years old on average. There were 93.7 men for every 100 females. There were 90.8 males for every 100 girls over the age of 18.
In the CDP, the median income for an individual was $66,516; for a family, it was $77,516. The median salary for men was $55,000 while it was $44,792 for women. In the CDP, the per capita income was $31,222. 5.4% of people under the age of 18 and 5.5% of people 65 and over were among the 4.7% of households and individuals living in poverty.

The hamlet’s northern boundary with Roslyn Heights is formed by the Northern State Parkway. Major thoroughfares that traverse the hamlet include Willis Avenue and I.U. Willets Road.
Furthermore, the hamlet was formerly traversed by the Long Island Motor Parkway.
Rail
The Oyster Bay Branch of the Long Island Rail Road stops at the Albertson station, which serves the town.
Bus
Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) runs the n23 bus route, which stops at Roslyn Estates. This bus route follows the path of the historic trolley line that the New York & North Shore Traction Company used to run through the hamlet between Mineola and Roslyn in the early 20th century as it runs along Willis Avenue through the village.
