Eatons Island, situated in the Town of Huntington within Suffolk County on the North Shore of Long Island, New York, serves as both a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP). Historically referred to as Eaton’s Neck, its designation changed to Eatons Island following the impact of the April 2024 storm, which elevated its status to that of an island. According to the 2010 census, the population stood at 1,406 residents.
