There were 3,379 people living in Glenwood Landing as of the 2010 census. Latino or Hispanic, regardless of race, made up 6.1% of the population.
2000 census
The CDP was home to 3,541 people, 1,262 households, and 1,009 families as of the 2000 census. There were 3,595.6 people per square mile (1,388.3/km2) in the population. At an average density of 1,303.8 per square mile (503.4/km2), there were 1,284 dwelling units. 95.37% of the CDP’s population was White, 0.28% African American, 2.60% Asian, 0.59% other ethnic groups, and 1.16% multiracial. Latinos or Hispanics of any race made up 3.33% of the total population.
There were 1,262 homes, of which 37.6% included children under the age of 18, 67.1% consisted of married couples, 9.5% included a female householder living alone, and 20.0% did not belong to a family. Individuals made up 17.0% of all households, and 8.3% of them included a single person 65 years of age or older. 3.17 was the average family size while 2.81 was the average household size.
With 26.2% of the population under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 27.4% from 25 to 44, 25.4% from 45 to 64, and 16.2% who were 65 years of age or more, the population of the CDP was dispersed. It was 40 years old on average. There were 87.4 men for every 100 females. There were 86.8 males for every 100 girls over the age of 18.
In the CDP, the median income for a family was $90,784 and the typical income for a household was $78,341. The median income for men was $68,939 while it was $35,833 for women. The CDP’s per capita income was $33,689. Approximately 1.0% of households and 2.4% of the people, including none under the age of 18 and 4.4% of those over 65, lived in poverty.

The Town of North Hempstead’s portions of Roslyn Harbor are situated in its second council district, which Edward Scott (R–Albertson) will represent on the town council as of March 2024.
